Flue Gas Desulphurisation (FGD)
A wide range of corrosion media is present in FGD scrubbing towers, the absorber and quenching equipment.
The corrosion resistance of VISTAR® is excellent in the presence of Sulphuric Acid with and without the presence of Cl- ions. VISTAR® outperforms other stainless steels by up to 60% in environments with high chloride content and low pH values.
